Kendal Brewing Company

For the first time in 40 years, Kendal has a brewery, namely the Kendal Brewing Company at the Brewhouse at Burgundys.

Pictured are brewers Hans Krüger and Kim Lawther and owner Mike Pennington.

The intention is to make 2 brews per week a regular thing now they are up and running and into the new year, with the next two planned to be a 3.7% bitter and a dark mild. The names have yet to be decided but all beers will have a Kendal related name.

ELEVEN BELLS : A creamy golden beer with a rich hop flavour.
